Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. Kelly Michelle Stables received her degree with distinction at The University of Missouri Columbia in Columbia, Missouri. She is a graduate of the BA diploma in Theatre and Communication. She started her career as a performer in Los Angeles as a theater artist, performing and choreographing over 20 plays and musicals. These included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. In addition she played 7 title roles at LA's Storybook Theatre. While continuing to study Improvisation in The Groundlings and becoming a part of the company at Theatre West Kelly also started landing roles on television as well as in films. Her distinct voice and diminutive size has enabled her to perform a range of colorful characters. She's best known as Naomi Watts's scheming Samara in The Ring 2, but her most well-known role is as the charming receptionist from Two and a Half Men. From 2011-2015 Kelly played a paralegal at-day/party night hopper as a Series regular in the TV Land sitcom The Exes. She was also an Regular in the role of the hot sassy little sister to Alyssa Milano on ABC's Romantically Challenged as well as the mom in a stressed-out suburban home on the CW's No Tomorrow. She's lent her soprano singing voice to a variety of cartoons including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. The most recent appearance was that of the dim and lovable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC the hit show Superstore. She is married with two children and lives in a quiet house. She likes to write or sew as well as volunteer in schools.
